Day 2 and 3 have been quite yielding. My knowledge of C# is a tad less sufficient than I was expecting, so I've been getting help from a friend. As for progress, I have upwards of 11 scripts (3 of which are admittedly useless). I'll explain the functions that I've added in more detail.
Firstly, the deck customization is well underway. Cards can be highlighted and added to the deck. They layer underneath a single location so viewing the whole deck is impossible so far, but in brighter news removing the card returns it to its original pallet location. When adding and removing, the deck database gameObject is updated appropriately. You can also shuffle the cards inside your deck.
Secondly. LERP! I have a clean camera transition between the main menu, deck customization, and battle area. Buttons and functionality become disabled during movement as to prevent weird glitching or unintended movements.
Next we have a script reference. On the card's prefab, on of the enumerators is a "special ability" slot where I can reference another script depending on what special ability that card has.
The final main update is that 7 more cards have been added to the game. It's been a good 3 days of development. I've ended up relinquishing the majority of the hard coding (which turns out to be a large portion of it) to the friend mentioned above.
More coming to you next week!
